Sara Child, a mixed blood Kwakiutl from the Kwakwaka’wakw Nation, has dedicated her life to championing the revitalization of Indigenous language, culture, and healing. Sara believes that reconciliation, decolonization and Indigenization must ultimately lead to the transformative change necessary for NIC and all academy’s to become truly Indigenous Serving.
