Camosun College

Richard is the director of Camosun College’s applied research centre Camosun Innovates, where he oversees the work of students, staff, and faculty committed to applied learning and research as an integrative activity. Prior to joining Camosun, he served as Vice President Academic and Provost at Capilano University, Director of the Institute for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning at Mount Royal University, and Senior Scholar for the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. His work in higher education spans more than thirty years and includes working nationally and internationally on initiatives ranging from aesthetic literacy and applied research to critical pedagogy and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
