Georgian College

Nicole is the Manager of the Centre for Changemaking and Social Innovation at Georgian College, an AshokaU Changemaker Campus. Her roll takes her across the Centre’s portfolios on mobilization strategies for changemaking and social innovation within Georgian’s 7 rural and small city campus ecosystem. Her back ground is in Industrial Design and she is a graduate of OCAD University’s Masters in Strategic Foresight and Innovation program in Toronto, ON. She is actively involved in a Georgian College/OCADU’s sLab research agenda with the Strongly Sustainable Business Model Group and the development of Flourishing Enterprise Toolkit – a business model toolkit for modelling strongly sustainable organizations and communities. Nicole’s work at Georgian includes supporting SENCO (Social Enterprise Network Central Ontario) and Community Impact Lab through the facilitation of social enterprise workshops systemic design tools. In 2018 Nicole supported the launch of #ChangeTheNow – a movement to catalyze Georgian’s AskokaU Changemaker Campus commitment to building out a ‘Region of Changemaking.’
