We walked on the moon: imaginative and bold partnerships, focused on excellence (F/SI)

May 4, 2020 | 14:00 - 15:00

Location: 513 ABC
Track: Driving Innovation

The Cégep de Drummondville is renowned for its ease in creating strategic and meaningful partnerships. Specifically, collective intelligence is apparent in two distinct projects, the Centre collégial d’expertise en gérontologie (CCEG) and the Centre national intégré du manufacturier intelligent (CNIMI), in which the Cégep de Drummondville served as a hub, and thereby demonstrated its clear leadership with regard to the various communities. In 2018, the Cégep de Drummondville built the Espace recherche et innovation within the cégep itself. As the only integrated and college-level research centre specialized in gerontology in Canada, the CCEG-CCTT is conspicuous for its willingness to create distinctive partnerships in all its projects. The presenters will talk about how students at the Cégep de Drummondville will be immersed in an innovative universe providing both an opportunity for challenging and cutting-edge training informed by research, labour market needs and entrepreneurial values sought by future employers.
