Stronger Together: Innovative Pan-Canadian Collaboration for Environmental ImpAct (B/SI)

April 27, 2021 | 3:15 - 4:00

Track: Embodying Sustainability

While Canadian colleges and institutes already collaborate academically in many ways, colleges and institutes are encouraged to expand their opportunities for collaboration on other activities. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a mutual approach is necessary to build forward better and greener.

Representatives from a McConnell Foundation funded pan-Canadian project working group working on environmental sustainability at their institutions will share their insights on modelling an efficient transfer of scalable knowledge, skills, and resiliency as a collaborative network. Despite the diverse realities and experiences of colleges and institutes, this group recognizes institutions must work together for a unified green recovery. The speakers will share tangible examples of cross-institutional collaborations, demonstrating efficient uses of time, talent, and resources.
