Social Innovation in the College Sector: A Key Approach to Inclusion (F/SI)

May 6, 2019 | 13:45 - 14:45

Location: Peller C
Track: Leading Success

The college centers for the transfer of innovative social practices, and the humanities and social sciences institutional research groups at Canadian colleges are essential vehicles for innovating study programs and meeting the multiple needs of today’s youth. Four research groups from Quebec and New Brunswick will present their research on the effects of social innovation efforts regarding the services offered to cegep and college students.

With a focus on bringing together research and education actors in order to foster the emergence of evidence-based practices in college education, it is essential to better understand the importance of supporting actors in social innovation and education in order to bring together the needs of society and the contribution of research in humanities and social sciences for educational success.
