Responsible conduct in research: tools for everyone! (F/SI)

May 4, 2020 | 11:15 - 12:15

Location: 513 ABC
Track: Driving Innovation

La Cité Collégiale and the Association pour la recherche au collégial (ARC) are jointly developing a best practices guide and a support tutorial in ethics and the responsible conduct of research at the college level. Building on the Tri-Agency Framework and the Tri-Council Policy Statement 2 (2018), this guide will help research administrators and researchers find information quickly on the main principles outlined in these documents and about their roles and responsibilities in relation to research. Furthermore, the guide will provide templates for policies and forms. These tools can be adapted to the specific context of each college and will be available for free in both of Canada’s official languages. Team members will present their contribution to the project and the steps taken with regard to the consultation process involving members of the ARC, Ontarian colleges and Colleges and Institutes Canada.
