NSCC Entrepreneurship and Innovation – Meeting the Demands of Students (E/SI)

April 27, 2022 | 1:30 - 2:30

Location: Room 109
Track: Steering Innovation

Through using an extra, co and curricular strategy NSCC infuses entrepreneurial experiences within its learning framework to assist students in understanding the value of an entrepreneurial skillset and that being an entrepreneur is a viable career option.

The pandemic required a shift in delivery and approach of these experiences (from in-person to virtual) requiring innovative programming and the ability to be agile and pivot at short notice. Further, the pandemic shed light on opportunities that entrepreneurship can provide in times of challenge and uncertainty resulting in increased student interest and engagement in this subject area.

Through a moderated panel format NSCC Entrepreneurship will demonstrate how this approach to entrepreneurship and innovation was maintained while providing agile and innovative programming to meet increased student demands.
