April 27, 2022 | 1:30 - 2:30

Location: Room 106/107
Track: Mapping Sustainability

ImpAct: Colleges and Institutes collaborating for Social ImpAct has been a three-year project backed by the McConnell Foundation. It was built on the common values and aspirations of CICan members and designed to amplify the college and institute system’s contributions to economic and social development, community well-being and a sustainable future by supporting deliberate and collaborative approaches.

The aim of ImpAct has been to support colleges and institutes in achieving their shared vision of Better Futures for People and Communities. Twenty-five institutions within the CICan network have collaborated to advance the UN SDGs through four pan-Canadian Project Working Groups (Campus Sustainability, Social Entrepreneurship, Reducing Barriers to Access and the SDG Accord). The panelists will present their collaborative work that has supported three objectives:

1. Amplify college contributions to economic and social development, community well-being and a sustainable future
